Practicum
All ED1 Teacher Candidates MUST set aside the week following the exam period - April 27th to May 1st  for the observation block and final assignment.  Students will spend 2 days in a school observation placement, 1 day investigating the community, have 1 day to write the paper, and 1 day (Friday) on campus meeting with their CMYR 2100 Seminar Leader and class.

The online form, which is accessible through the practicum login on the main education homepage, will be available from Thursday February 12th to Thursday February 26th. That's 2 full weeks to login and input the information needed.  Below is the link to the login page.  Use your Passport York username and password to login.

The ED1 selection will serve as the ED2 (2015-2016) placement request so it is critical that Teacher Candidates choose zones suitable for the year and whether they prefer a public or catholic placement.

For ED2 Teach Candidates, returning from Stop out, you also need to complete the form for the 2015-2016 year as planning for placements begins before the school year wraps up. Look for more information on this in upcoming communications.

Please contact the practicum office by email at practicumoffice@edu.yorku.ca if there are any questions or issues with the system.
