All teacher candidates in the Consecutive BEd program, must successfully complete and confer their undergraduate degrees prior to finishing the BEd degree. This is an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) requirement. For any teacher candidate who was admitted to the BEd program conditionally because they plan to confer their undergraduate degrees this fall term, they must submit their transcripts for their undergraduate degrees to BEd Student Services as soon as possible. Teacher candidates who fail to satisfy the conditions of their offer of admissions will be withdrawn from the program at the start of the winter term and not allowed to continue in the BEd program.
