The Faculty of Education will offer seven Education electives, which will count towards the Concurrent and Part-Time Consecutive BEd elective requirements. Because the Faculty of Education uses compressed summer sessions that the rest of the university does not use, not all the summer Education electives are published in the university’s summer lecture schedule. While two Education electives appear in the university’s summer lecture schedule, six Education electives will be offered during the summer during various periods in condensed manners. Please note that enrolment in Education electives is managed through a waitlist process. Priority is given to ED3 teacher candidates who need the credits to graduate and ED2 teacher candidates without any electives. The Student Services newsletter for the month of March will include details on how students can add their names to the Education elective waitlist once those elective courses are full. If spaces become available, students will be notified via email. The Summer Education Electives are as follows:
