Education Electives for BEd students summer session
In response to students indicating that taking many courses in an online/remote format is challenging, we are offering a large number of summer term elective courses. Although not mandatory, we strongly suggest students heading into Year 2 (Consecutive BEd students and Concurrent BEd returning) for FW 2021 to plan an education elective  in the summer in order to “lighten” your course load during the fall and winter terms.

Elective courses will be  offered is summer session C1 and C2. There will be more electives posted (C2) to select , but below are the ones set already. https://registrar.yorku.ca/enrol/dates/su21

    • Summer courses are condensed (six weeks), so (if required) students will be able to take one elective in May/June (C1 term) and another elective in June/July (C2 term).
    • Travel to campus is not required for summer courses, since they are offered remotely.
    • We hope that by spreading the workload over a longer period of time, our students will be able to juggle their many responsibilities in a manner that supports their mental and physical health.
